You will get the chance to study in our modern laboratories using excellent equipment. Previous students have had work experience with paramedics, at hospital laboratories and an arson unit. There are also visits to outside laboratories and local fire stations to see forensics in practice.

You will study in our bright, modern laboratories with industry-standard equipment including fingerprinting kit, forgery detection apparatus and an electrostatic filter for analysing shoe prints. We also have extensive microbiological facilities including aseptic work spaces and cultures and fermentation equipment.
