This two-year business and administration course has been designed with employers from multiple sectors and combines classroom study with a 45-day industry placement to prepare you for the world of work, or further studies like a higher-level apprenticeship or university. This course is suitable for anyone interested in business administration and operational support roles.
Students study a broad range of topics in Year 1 including:
- Business environments and organisational structure
- Stakeholder relationships
- Project and change management
- Business behaviours, communication and conduct
- Quality assurance and compliance
- Problem-solving and decision making
- Finance and resource management
In Year 2 students will develop knowledge and skills in:
- Operational support
- Prioritising workloads and processes
- Delivering improvements to business practices
- Managing records and information
- Coordinating projects and events
- Maintaining effective relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders
T Levels are a post-GCSE option. Entry requirements to qualify are:
- Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and maths.
- Must be aged 16-18 at the start of the course.
Assessment consists of an employer set project and two exams in Year 1 and an occupational specialism project in year 2.
This course prepares students for higher level apprenticeships, further education, or job roles in the following areas:
Business Administration, Operational Support, Project Support, and Human Resources.
