This one-year qualification will give an overview of various construction skills when completing mandatory units within carpentry, plumbing, tiling, painting and decorating and health & safety.
Mandatory units include:
- Health and safety
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Hand tools
- Tiling
- Painting and decorating
There will also be optional units for completion, including electrical installation and environmental awareness.
- Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English and maths or completion of our level 1 course.
Practical tasks and the completion of theory assessments.
Successful completion of this course would allow you to progress further to a specialised Level 2 course or the T Level in Design, Surveying and Planning or a related apprenticeship/employment.
