Course Introduction
This two-year BTEC qualification is designed for students who wish to develop a broad foundation of knowledge and practical skills across a wide range of engineering disciplines. Equivalent in size and UCAS points to two A Levels, this qualification is widely recognised by employers and universities as a rigorous preparation for a career in engineering.
Combining both theoretical understanding and hands-on practical experience, the course covers key areas including mechanical and electrical engineering, materials science, CAD design, mathematics, and health and safety — giving you a well-rounded skill set ready for the demands of industry or further study.

- GCSE English and maths at grade 3 or above.
Continuous assignment-based assessment throughout the course, marked by your tutor.
