English and Maths

English and maths are essential for your future. When you join us, if you do not have a minimum of a GCSE grade C/4 and above in either, you will have to retake them alongside your studies. This will be through GCSE classes or Functional Skills in English and/or maths if you are below a level 2.

English is the third largest spoken language in the world, with over 1.5 billion speakers globally. If you speak English as a second language and want to improve your reading, writing, spelling and maths skills, our full time ESOL course is designed to help you. The course is open to all levels and abilities.

If you want more help with your exams then please visit our dedicated GCSE English and Maths sites.

Current students can access CENTURY here to complete English and maths courses online, both in and outside of college.
