This one-year VTCT qualification will provide you with the foundation-level skills to start working in the hairdressing industry.
Course Content
You will learn about:
- Client consultation
- How to professionally shampoo and condition
- How the industry works
- Cutting
- Colouring and perming hair
- Reception duties
You will also have the opportunity to specialise in cutting African hair.
Entry Requirement
- Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, preferably to include English and maths and a science, or completion of our Future Pathways course.
Where does this course lead to
You will be able to progress to our Level 3 Hairdressing course, study an apprenticeship, or enter the world of work.
